FlightPath Pro

FlightPath is free to install and fully functional for individuals and small teams. Pro unlocks the features that let you run workflows beyond your local editor — most notably remote access — and supports continued development.

What Pro unlocks

• Code from anywhere — open your running workflows in any browser, on any device on your network (remote / LAN dashboard, QR-to-phone, mobile notifications).
• Custom execution hooks — user-defined hooks in the harness command path.
• Air-gapped / offline activation — activate from a signed license file with no network call (enterprise / secure environments).
• Custom icon color.
• All future Pro features — included in the same perpetual license.
• Email support at support@flightpath.dev.

Everything else — all 7 harnesses, unlimited workflow steps, end conditions, the full local dashboard, the localhost dashboard, the CLI, MCP server, and AI commit messages — is in the free tier and stays free.

Who needs a license?

The free tier is available to individuals and to organizations under both thresholds: less than USD $10,000,000 total annual gross revenue and fewer than 250 people.

If your organization meets or exceeds either threshold, each user needs a Pro license — satisfied either by the individual buying a personal Pro license, or by the organization's enterprise license covering that user. A personal Pro license covers your use at work, including freelance and client engagements.

Students in accredited programs and academic researchers may use FlightPath free regardless of their institution's size.

Every new install includes a 14-day free trial of remote access — no credit card, no account. When the trial ends, the dashboard stays free on localhost; only the remote/LAN reach requires Pro.

Activate your license

Online (most users)

1. Run FlightPath: Activate Pro License from the Command Palette (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+P).
2. Paste the license key from your purchase email.
3. FlightPath activates the key and caches a signed license file locally. Pro features unlock immediately.

Activation registers the current machine against your 10-machine limit.

Air-gapped / offline

For machines with no internet access:

1. Obtain your signed license file (delivered with your purchase, or transferred via USB / QR).
2. Run FlightPath: Activate Pro License and choose to import a license file.
3. FlightPath verifies the file's signature locally — no network call is made.

Move a license to another machine

Run FlightPath: Deactivate Pro License on a machine you no longer use to free up an activation slot, then activate on the new machine. Your Free/Pro status is shown in the status bar.
